Elite Bike Rentals ("we," "us," or "our") operates a bike rental service in Hollywood Beach and Dania Beach, Florida. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

1. Information We Collect

When you rent a bike from us, we collect the following:

Name -- to identify you on the rental agreement
Email address -- to send your rental receipt and contact you if needed
Phone number -- to reach you about your rental
Signature -- to confirm you agreed to the rental terms
Government-issued photo ID -- photographed for security purposes

2. Why We Collect It

We use your information to:

Process your bike rental and security deposit
Verify your identity and age (must be 18+)
Contact you in case of issues with your rental
Maintain records as required by Florida law

3. How Your Data Is Stored

Your rental information is stored locally on our devices. We do not sell, share, or distribute your personal information to third parties, with one exception: payment transactions are processed through Square Inc., which handles your payment data under its own privacy policy.

4. Data Retention

Rental records (name, email, phone, signature, rental details) are retained for 3 years in accordance with Florida record-keeping requirements.
Photo ID images are automatically deleted 30 days after the bike is returned.

5. Your Rights

You can request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us at randy@elitebikerentals.com. We will process your request within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements.

6. Payment Processing

All card and digital wallet payments are processed by Square Inc. We do not store your credit card number or payment credentials on our devices. Square's handling of your payment data is governed by Square's Privacy Policy.
